We’ve recently returned from a very successful Print 17 in Chicago where New Solution were proud to share space on the Memjet stand during the launch of their second generation heads.

Stewart Bell, VP Sales for New Solution comments, “Print17 was a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate to customers what can be achieved using Memjet’s technology. “On the stand we were delighted to show for the first time in the US, the New Solution Multi, combined Printer and Laminator, demonstrating to visitors how they can grow their business printing direct to corrugated board, both flat sheet and precut boxes.”

NS ATOM
The New Solution Atom had a BETA launch at Print 17, ahead of its’ official launch at Label Expo later this month and it drew crowds from the very first morning. A compact label printer for printing roll to roll and also pre-cut roll fed labels, the Atom represent great value for money both on the initial purchase and on the ongoing running costs.

MEDIA
Also making its’ debut at the American show was the Decal range of self-adhesive label media. Fully tested and evaluated by Memjet, it is compatible with Memjet ink technology and will work with all label printers using waterbased inkjet technology. With an attractive price point, Decal’s range of self-adhesive labels also offer high quality performance and durability.

NS MULTI
The New Solution Multi also made its’ first showing in the USA and was very well received. The Multi is a 1.06m (42”) wide flatbed inkjet printer designed specifically to print directly on to paper-based board products i.e. carton and corrugated. Ideal for short run digital print, the Multi allows users to create prototypes, e-commerce packaging, transit packaging printing direct to pre-cut boxes, point of sale and point of purchase. The Multi comes with the option of a Caldera RIP and a Variable data module. Using Memjet head technology, the Multi prints using high quality FSDA approved water based inks, meaning it’s suitable for all types of packaging including food.

FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS
Stewart continues, “New Solution were guests of Memjet on their stand throughout the show. Memjet were launching their second generation head technologies - DuraLink and VersaPass. Duralink features a new long-life printhead, durable water-based pigment inks and a range of versatile modules enabling fast and cost efficient product development of commercial, packaging and industrial printing solutions onto uncoated materials. VersaPass features lightning fast speeds combined with superb profitability and is an exciting development for digital labels and packaging. New Solution are delighted to be partners with Memjet and are working closely with their R&D teams to continue to develop new products in both corrugated, label and packaging markets.”
